Songjin - the nobility in silk known as Song Brocade dates back to Song Dynasty (960 -1279). It was culturally the highly glorious era in Chinese history. The most highly prized was silk in apparel. Wearing song brocade speaks a symbol of social status and wealth. It was listed in 2009 by UNISCO as World Intangible Cultural Heritage which makes it world known. Inspired by auspicious motifs found on Emperor’s robe, this pouch is flawless for cards, jewelry, lipsticks, coins, etc.
The damask is woven in premium silk on computerized jacquard looms that combine simply-arrived and centuries-old technologies. It is satin lined, matching color nylon zipper and premium gold-toned copper zip pull.
It measures 5" x 3.75". Each one is individually packed with clear poly bag. The shipment weight is 4oz. Pattern may vary slightly due to tailoring.
